Do any search on the net and you’ll hit a million websites that will promise to strip that fat from your love handles. Fact is, the majority is useless. Designed to sell you some crap diet or some pills.
The side bend is the usual suspect in the exercise for love handles category. You hold something above your head, usually a broom handle or stick and then lean or bend left, then right. Then repeat, repeatedly. Get real! It would be nice if they actually worked.
They rarely work because you are trying to target just one small area. This is very difficult if not impossible. You’ll get a lot of know it alls telling you they do indeed work. Of course they work, but only when they are part of a complete system. Not just targeting one area.
If you do side bends as part of a thorough workout then they will work. Couple the thorough workout with decent eating habits and you’ve cracked it. The fact is, to lose weight (or fat) you need to burn more energy than you consume.
To consume energy simply means to eat food. Burning energy off is done simply by activity or exercise. You can burn energy off (exercise) with any form of activity.
Any of these will do … Swimming, jogging, cycling, walking, and making love even! Any type of exercise is good for you. No exercise is bad for you. The reason a lot of us are overweight is we eat food that is stuffed with calories. Then we fail to burn those calories off.
You can do love handle exercises for ever and a day but ignore other areas and you will end up back at square one. If you are a naturally lazy person (like me) then swimming is probably your best all round exercise. If you have access to a pool, use it. The benefits are immense.
I personally turn my nose up at jogging. I see no point in spending hours in pain and shortening the life of your knees. The guy who popularised jogging actually died while out jogging in a park somewhere. Ironically discovered by two smokers walking past.
If it’s time you took action on your weight & lifestyle you need to get an all round system that you can work with. Exercise for love handles, will it hurt me? Well that all rests on what & how you do it. But it doesn’t have to be.
Those nasty lumps of fat at your sides are what is termed as ‘love handles’. There’s nothing lovely about them so where the name comes from I don’t know.
Love handles are actually ‘oblique muscles’ or ‘obliques’, named for the fact they sit at an angle at our sides. Oblique actually means ‘at an angle’.
The majority of advice in the fitness game will be garbage like – eat healthily, balanced diet, exercise regularly – that sort of thing.
We know what we should do but we need to get rid of these love handles the easy way, without the hard work. Is there a way?
Yes it’s possible. You can continue on your junk food diet and lose your love handles but you are in for a huge amount of work.
The biggest hurdle you face is that while you exercise for love handles, you only rid yourself of yesterday’s fat. Today’s fat is making it’s way to love handle central.
If, and it’s a big if, you could stop with the all the bad food you wouldn’t have to do nearly as much exercise to maintain a great body.
It’s all about trade-off. How bad do you want to get rid of your love handles? Bad enough to change your lifestyle?
Or will you still eat like you do now and decide to do a lot more exercise. It’s your choice.
A popular exercise for love handles is side bends. You may need to do a few hundred a day to maintain your love handles and your current diet. Or only do a few dozen to keep the love handles flat if you make the lifestyle change.
As you can see from the example above, it’s a compromise. More garbage food will mean more exercise. Better food means less exercise.
I’m inherently lazy, so I tend to go for the healthiest option that I can to minimise any exercise I have to do. I still do exercises for love handles but only to keep them at bay.
So there you have it, exercise for love handles will hurt if you have to do loads of them just to maintain your current love handles. It’s far less painful if you are prepared to adjust your lifestyle a bit.

I see my adult life as part one and part two. Although there is weight loss involved here it’s not why I see it in two parts.
My before part is before I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My after part is what happens after, dealing with the aftermath.
I knew I was carrying a bit of extra girth but I never thought 15 pounds or so was dangerously overweight for someone in my mid twenties.
I had tried to shift it many times but motivation is a damn difficult beast to master. I was stuck in the mindset of “I can’t lose weight“.
When I was trying and losing weight it seemed to take for ever to drop a couple pounds. When I stopped trying I gained any losses back almost overnight.
Then came the bombshell of diabetes. I know it’s not the end of the world but at the time it really feels like it.
It seemed I had to rid myself of any “can’t lose weight” thoughts and also rid myself of any excess weight. My health depended on it.
What on earth was I going to do? I always thought I can’t lose weight and that’s it. I find a system that worked and find it fast.
As I like to be a bit obsessive, I wanted something that I could follow step by step. Something that gave me a list of daily tasks that I could tick off one by one.
If the steps were planned meals or exercise routines then I’d need to tick off that it was complete. This way I know I’m sticking to the game plan.
I had differing levels of success with all manner of dieting systems and gizmos. Some quite expensive! I read plenty of books and lots of Ebooks.
I eventually discovered a neat little step by step system that has a computer generated diet planner, which importantly doesn’t restrict your portion sizes. It makes it so quick and easy to plan meals.
I said I like to tick boxes as I go, well this system ticks all the right boxes for me. Was that a bit of a pun there?
If you too think you can’t lose weight then let me tell you from experience you are 99% wrong in thinking that. Maybe you just haven’t found the system that works for you yet. Maybe that system is the one I use?

If you’ve been struggling with your weight for some time, you might believe right now that you simply can’t lose weight.
I can tell you now that’s not physically possible. Everybody can lose weight. You just haven’t found the right system for you just yet.

I tried all manner of useless diet products, some of them painfully expensive. They got me nowhere fast. Hopefully by getting yourself a system like mine you won’t have to waste a boat load of cash.

Can’t lose weight? Or think you can’t lose weight, then maybe you need to re-evaluate your thinking on this. Everyone should be able to lose weight. It’s not impossible.
I once believed the same, that I can’t lose weight, and probably never will. I was totally wrong on that point.
I used to lose a pound and pile two on, an endless merry go round. I changed when I was struck with type 2 diabetes.
I blamed myself for being overweight and causing diabetes but the reality is I just don’t know if I contributed. I can tell you though it’s a frightening revelation to find that out.
Only twenty seven and lumped with a life long illness. Just how did I get this ‘old age’ persons disease?
I realised it was time to take drastic action. My health depended on a proper attempt at losing weight. My whole outlook had to change.
I had tried most diets and dieting gimmicks that came out over the years. Cripes some of them cost a fortune. I look back and am ashamed to admit just how much I wasted on crap diets.
What I found was a step by step system that allows me to plan my day and my meals. I can plan meals of a decent size that aren’t going to leave me hungry.
I use a computer diet generator that does away with any hassle I might have in planning proper meals. I used to really get aggravated working out what I can & can’t have.
I was terrible when it came to the weekend. If I’d managed to drop a pound or two I’d end up rewarding myself and undoing any progress I’d made through the week. Talk about vicious circle.
It might be time for you to take a fresh look at things. If you’re anything like I used to be and think you can’t lose weight, now is the time start believing you can.
You won’t regret making the decision. You’ll look back in years to come and realise how silly a notion it is to think you can’t lose weight.

Two simple rules to losing weight are exercise more while eating less.Those two statements don’t really help us as they simply aren’t specific enough.We need more detail. We need a set of rules to live by day in day out.
Having a system with set rules will allow you to easily follow your plan every day.Every day we can follow the rules and be certain we are doing things right.On our own we don’t follow rules and stray from what we should do.
When we try to go it alone we end up getting nowhere fast. Usually worse than when we started.We can be pretty sure we are doing things right when we follow a proven system.We can simply check off our daily list of tasks and know we are following correctly.
You should see results pretty quickly if you follow the system day in day out.The hardest part is following the system, and its daily routine.We can help ourselves by knowing which danger signs to look out for.
Knowledge is everything in this world. Having knowledge of something puts you in a far better position to deal with things.Weight loss is no different. If you can’t lose weight then you may simply be lacking the correct knowledge.Let’s have a quick look at a few reasons that many people fail to see a weight loss plan through.
Portion sizes.Do you really need that much food? I can tell you that studies have shown that three quarters of us give ourselves portions that are far too large. We rarely need as much as we put on our plates. Try it for a while, reduce your portions a bit. See if you are still hungry. You may be surprised. When you start to see results you will automatically be preparing smaller portions so this one should take care of its self later on.
Are you really hungry or do you just need a drink? We can easily mistake hunger for a simple thirst. Try it next time you think you feel hunger, have a drink. I can go half a day on just a few cups of coffee; the liquid makes me feel much less hungry.
Motivation, it’s as important as the air you breathe. What more do you need to keep you motivated than the image of a slimmer, almost perfect you. You will be fitter. You’ll feel far better with your self image. You’ll be brimming with rediscovered confidence. Oh, and you may get more sex! What other reason do you need?
Are you eating enough? An odd one but eating too little causes your body to go into starvation mode and actually store fat. Your body doesn’t know where its next meal is coming from so hoards the food it does get. Then any normal meals you eat are also stored as your body is now confused.
There are a lot of reasons you might think you can’t lose weight.You may need a step by step system that you can use everyday.You give yourself every chance of success with a system you can follow.

Are any of the reviews of the many diet system out there worth reading? I think so yes.Many systems give you duff info, useless generic info that says you will lose weight if you do this etc. This is rarely the case though.
You will get the results you desire if you pick the right system and stick to it.I know from my weight loss battle that sticking to them is probably the hardest thing to do.If you are certain you want to lose that stubborn weight then I’ve reviewed a few good systems that will work for you.
You should rid your mind of any thoughts that you can’t lose weight that are still lingering in there.Anyone who rigidly sticks to the (right) rules can lose weight.There are many many people who can happily prove that weight loss systems do indeed work.
