What’s the quickest way to pack on weight? There are a few important factors but the top of the list is to eat large amounts of food. Believe it or not sumo wrestlers have more muscle per square inch than anyone else. That’s right, I couldn’t believe it when I first heard it. Don’t let me confuse you, I’m not suggesting that you should try to get too fat, I’m just illustrating that the most important component of gaining muscle is to eat a whole lot of calories. You have to put down more calories than you burn for you to turn food into large muscles. Take your suggested daily total of caloric units and add about 500 to it. Another fast way to figure this out is to take your current body weight and multiply it by 18. You need to eat 2475 calories if you weigh 165 pounds. To get the best result you also have to put away six healthy meals each day. Once you get into a routine it becomes much easier. Trust me, it’s way too hard to try to pack away three massive meals. Keep it simple and just eat 6 smaller meals. As an example to get to your caloric intake for the day you would have to eat 11 eggs, 2 and half bowls of oatmeal and a cup of walnuts in one sitting. Lifting weights is another important key. Here are some more great weight gaining tips. I have tried a couple different approaches. First tried higher reps with low to moderate weights. That ain’t gonna get you massive. Beginners will see some mass gains just by getting into the weight room but not nearly as much as is possible. You can also do a super set while you go from a smaller weight to a heavier weight.A super set goes like this. If you are putting up squats first you do a warm up set, then you put up a low weight like ninety pounds for 12 repetitions. Next you increase the weight to 110 pounds for 10 reps, and then you keep raising the weight til your doing 130 pounds for 6 reps. Then you’ll immediately drop to 90 pounds for 12 reps, then you switch exercises to leg presses and put up 100 pounds for 12 reps.. . I shouldn’t really recommend this method because I only had moderate success.

The most success I’ve had is lifting heavy. There is a lot of different schools on this topic and it can be hard to figure out what the best way to go is.
